Winemaker Comments: 100% Syrah.  From cool north and east faces in the Willow Creek District and York Mountain this is a remarkable example of what Syrah can do in cooler sub areas of warm regions.  Additional 16 months bottle age prior to release. 90% destemmed plus 10% that was 100% whole cluster fermented.  7 day cold maceration, small open top fermentors and open top puncheons, native yeast, punch downs on skins for 5 weeks and basket pressed at dryness.
